Easy access, large sites and few people are all draws for Bow Island’s Centennial Park. Found just blocks from the Crowsnest Highway, the campground has two playgrounds, two outdoor cooking areas, beach volleyball and a well-maintained soccer field.
On Sundays, you may have the opportunity to share the park with Hutterites from the area who take the opportunity to relax. Kids play at the playground while the adults either play a game of soccer or sit in the shade and visit.
For the caring cultural traveller, visiting a space commonly used by this deeply traditional group offers a glimpse into a way of life important to the area.
